01 — Overview

What it is,
and why it matters.

A security operations centre (SOC) is a team that monitors your systems, investigates suspicious activity and responds to threats. Building one in-house is expensive and hard to staff.

SOC as a service gives you that capability for a predictable monthly cost. We combine endpoint detection and response (EDR) on your devices with round-the-clock monitoring and clear escalation.

A good fit if…

  • You have no one watching for threats out of hours
  • Your IT team is drowning in alerts
  • You hold sensitive client or financial data
  • Insurers or clients expect active monitoring

06 — FAQs

Questions,
answered.

It is an outsourced security operations centre: a team that monitors your systems around the clock and responds to threats, delivered as a monthly service rather than an in-house department.

EDR is the technology on your devices that detects and blocks suspicious behaviour. MDR adds people: analysts who watch those alerts 24/7, investigate them and respond.

Usually yes. Modern EDR replaces traditional antivirus and does a great deal more. We handle the switch-over.

We investigate immediately, take the containment steps agreed with you, and call your named contacts with what we know and what we recommend.
